FAQ
-
As I manage a full-time role during the week, my primary availability is on weekends and outside business hours. For certain projects, I can accommodate early morning or late afternoon sessions during the week. This is especially favourable for outdoor portraits to capitalise on golden hour.
-
For your shoot, you can expect me to arrive early (punctuality is my personality trait). I shoot with a minimalist kit and will provide gentle direction for portraits.
I’m highly adaptable and always bring extra memory cards, batteries and a back-up camera body to make sure nothing gets missed.
-
My focus is primarily on events, portraits, sports, and branding/documentary storytelling.
-
Hey, never say “never”!
Some of my most rewarding work has come from wedding and family shoots, although I’m far enough along in my creative journey to know where my strongest value lies.
I‘m open to discussing weddings — with a preference for videography or assistant photographer roles — or family sessions on an individual enquiry basis. I accept these projects only when the scope and expectations align with my natural style to ensure the best possible result for you.description.
-
I manually edit every photo and video to ensure the final product is true to the essence of the moment. I avoid heavy digital manipulation and strive for beautiful skin tones.
I only use AI-assisted tools for technical fixes, such as reducing noise in low-light environments or removing minor distractions so that tree isn’t sprouting out of your head.
I’m a versatile, highly proficient photo editor, so if you have certain inspiration I’m sure I can create results you’ll love.
-
Of course! These are some of my favourite scenes to capture and I typically set up a dedicated space with a nice backdrop and my lighting to capture these shots throughout your event.
-
Typically not unless negotiated in advance. I take a lot of pride in my work and the editing process is a fundamental part of the professional service I provide. However, if you require a higher volume of images, additional high-resolution JPGs are available for purchase.
-
I prioritise quality over speed, but I understand the need for a prompt turnaround. My standard timelines are:
Short sessions (1 hour): Within 48 hours.
Event coverage (3+ hours): Within 7 days.
Large projects: Timelines will be discussed and agreed upon during enquiry. I always try and provide a “sneak peek” gallery with a dozen or so highlights within the first 24 hours so you can celebrate an event’s memorable moments while they’re still fresh with friends and family.
-
Fully processed, edited and downloadable/printable high-resolution JPEG images.
-
A pre-shoot call is always helpful to plan efficiently. Depending on your project, I may ask about
A shot list of "must-have" moments or subjects.
Venue details to help me identify potential logistical or lighting challenges.
Any sensitivities regarding guests (e.g., people who shouldn't be photographed or children without filming consent).
Branding assets (logos, colours, fonts) for business videos and your call to action.
Your specific business goals and target audience.
-
Yes. I am ABN registered, hold current Public Liability Insurance, and maintain Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) accreditation in the ACT.
-
A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance within one week after the shoot.
-
Unfortunately not. While I have done this in the past, experience has taught me that there are more compromises to be made regarding quality than I feel comfortable committing to.
The best I can do is to promise to work efficiently with a companion photographer/videographer you book so we capture everything to the highest standard — or I can wear my action camera for a BTS perspective!

No, but if you’re seeking a vintage aesthetic I have a number of lenses even older than me (yikes) from the Soviet Union and Japan that provide beautiful, timeless rendering — just without the additional cost or environmental footprint.
I even have a 3D-printed disposable camera lens and early 2000s digital cameras that make for unique shoots if that is your taste.
